About COMD MSc in Clinical Oral Implantology

The Oral Implantology and Clinical Oral Implantology Master of Science courses are intended for dental practitioners wishing to develop their theoretical knowledge and practical clinical skills of treatment planning, surgical placement, restoration and maintenance of dental implants. The course has been designed to allow you to gain treatment planning experience and surgical skills within a supervised environment.

You will be taught by the most advanced dentistry education experts, and will ensure you receive a well-rounded and robust education through in-depth seminars, interactive problem-based scenarios, and clinical training to achieve highest level of patient satisfaction and proficiency to deliver implant treatment.

Cadaveric Workshops
As part of the course, you will be exposed to unique advanced training, benefiting from the experience of placing implants and performing advanced surgical procedures including bone augmentation and sinus elevation using cadaveric specimens.

Clinical Training
You will be exposed to clinical training in our state-of-the-art Dental Hospital in central Birmingham, where advanced implant treatments are undertaken by expert dental academics. Students registered with GDC will be able to place and restore implants under the supervision of our experienced team. And if you decide to take the international placement you also gain clinical experience with patients under the supervision of our international faculty.

  • Flexibility to exit with a Post-Graduate Certificate (PG-Cert) or Post-Graduate Diploma (PG-Dip) in Clinical Oral Implantology.

  • Practical and Clinical Skills in Oral Implantology III
  • Research Dissertation

Fee: £10000

  • Distance Learning: £30,000 (£10,000 per year)
  • Additional charge of £4,900 for course equipment and materials
  • Blended Learning: £30,000 (£10,000 per year)
  • Full-Time: £60,000 (30,000 per year)
